Was Travis Scott’s Astroworld Performance Actually Satanic Sacrifice?

11/11/2021 Update: Since the time of publishing this post, one more person has died of their injuries. The total number of deaths from the Astroworld Music Festival Mass Casualty Event is now 9.

A number of conspiracy theories have emerged, claiming that the concert was a “blood sacrifice,” based on events at Astroworld Festival in Texas over the weekend.

At Travis Scott’s Astroworld concert in Houston on Friday night, at least eight people were killed and dozens more were hurt when the crowd surged towards the stage. Two young adults aged 14 and 16 are among those who perished.

Multiple videos have emerged on social media showing the rapper continuing to perform despite witnessing individuals fainting and medical personnel attempting to resuscitate people.

However, he was seen stopping numerous times throughout the performance to ask someone to assist those who had passed out in the crowd.

Some attendees of the Astroworld concert in Texas over the weekend described it as “hellish,” while many conspiracy theories have emerged claiming that the show was a form of “blood sacrifice.”

The blood-soaked events have prompted rumors that the show was a “blood sacrifice” since much of Scott’s marketing material is centered on demon imagery and significance.

The 30-year-old at Astroworld this year made his entrance through a large sculpture of his mouth, which has been compared to the renowned “Christ in Limbo” painting by Hieronymus Bosch and depicts the “mouth of hell.”

Many people have criticized the slogan for the festival, which read “See you on the other side,” because of the fatalities that occurred.

Scott issued a statement in which he expressed his sadness about the tragic events that occurred at Astroworld, saying he was “absolutely devastated.”

“My prayers go out to the families and all those impacted by what happened at Astroworld Festival. Houston PD has my total support as it continues to look into the tragic loss of life,” Scott tweeted on Saturday.
